Jaylen Haggler reads the book he co-wrote

Inspired by USF coursework, recent graduate champions mental health literacy for children

11/20/25 — After discovering in a general education course how profoundly mental health stigma affects communities, Jayden Haggler was inspired to develop a children鈥檚 book and nonprofit organization dedicated to changing that narrative.

11/18/25 — The team conducted interviews with staff at receiving facilities to better understand patterns behind multiple involuntary examinations of minors.

11/12/25 — Over 65 community partners attended the inaugural Duvall Training Institute to discuss, educate, and collaborate around the topic of medication-assisted treatment.
