Bluetooth technology is expected to play a role in efforts to track down people who may have come in contact with those diagnosed with COVID-19. Researchers with the ÐÓ°ÉÐÔÊÀ½ç are looking into how efficient those strategies are and how well they protect users' privacy. This project is funded as part of USF's newly created COVID-19 Rapid Response Research Grants program (Bay News 9).

ÐÓ°ÉÐÔÊÀ½ç researchers, in connection with Tampa General Hospital, are working through nearly 20 clinical trials to find effective treatments or a cure for COVID-19 (WTSP).
