Legislative Internship Program (LIP)
LIP students work nine hours per week in the offices of state and local legislators or nonprofit, think-tank, or policy agencies. These groups are actively involved in Tampa Bay's economic development, transportation, environmental protection, education, health, social welfare, or public finance.


The USF Health BRIDGE Clinic is a student-run free clinic that serves uninsured adults from underserved communities. Their goal is to create a health facility where patients are treated compassionately and cared for through the collaboration of medicine, social work, physical therapy, pharmacy, and public health providers. 


When a child is in the dependency court system due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment, the judge may appointment the Guardian Ad Litem Office to represent the child's interest. The child's GAL team may include a volunteer. Volunteers are responsible for gathering facts surrounding a child鈥檚 case, reviewing reports, finding out the child鈥檚 wants and desires, and providing the court with an unbiased recommendation on what is required to serve the child鈥檚 best interests.


Project Downtown's mission is to spread awareness about homelessness and distribute essentials to unhoused people in downtown Tampa.

UN Millennium Fellowship
The United Nations Millennium Fellowship is an international, semester-long leadership program designed for undergraduates interested in social impact careers. University cohorts - consisting of 8 to 20 students - apply by proposing a community service project that advances one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. 


The 3D HAB-Lab aims to mentor, teach, and engage USF students in fabrication techniques (3D printing, laser cutting, etc.) employed for restorative habitat design. Students align interests in engineering, design, art, and ecology to create working solutions for habitat loss locally and globally.

USF Climate Teach-In
A teach-in is an informal educational event designed to raise awareness or inspire action on a specific issue or cause. Unlike traditional lectures, teach-ins are interactive and community-oriented, encouraging open discussion and participation. Each spring, USF hosts a campus-wide Climate Teach-In led by a student executive board.
