Dear USF faculty and staff,
The ÐÓ°ÉÐÔÊÀ½ç is on a bold trajectory, and our future looks brighter than ever thanks to you — our USF team members who drive our relentless pursuit of excellence. Across our campuses in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota-Manatee and USF Health, your role is vital as we aim to support student success, advance innovative research and strengthen our communities, where we make a meaningful, positive and enduring impact.
To recognize and reward all that you do for our university, I am pleased to announce that, for the fourth consecutive year, USF will provide base salary increases for eligible out-of-unit faculty, administrative and staff employees. These increases do not apply to in-unit employees or to USF Health Ranked Clinical Faculty based on other contractual obligations. We will continue to bargain in good faith to reach agreement on pay increases for in-unit employees.
Using a two percent (2%) discretionary pool, supervisors will decide the amount of individual employee increases based on criteria provided by Central Human Resources, such as hiring date, performance history and market adjustments. Salary adjustments will take effect on October 24, 2025, and will appear on paychecks starting November 14, 2025.
I am also happy to share that USF will extend the winter break holiday schedule to encompass December 22, 2025, through January 2, 2026, providing you with more opportunity to rest, recharge and reconnect with those closest to you. I hope you enjoy this additional time and return from break refreshed and ready to continue our momentum in the new calendar year.
I cannot thank you enough for your contributions to our achievements and your dedication to ensuring that USF is a place that delivers results for our region, our state and our nation.
Sincerely,
Rhea F. Law
President
