As a new academic semester kicks off, universities often see a surge in phishing attempts targeting students, faculty, and staff.

Cybercriminals take advantage of the busy start-of-term energy when inboxes are full to send deceptive emails that look legitimate but are designed to steal personal information or credentials. Whether it's a fake IT alert, a bogus financial aid message, or a spoofed login page, it's important to stay vigilant and aware online.
